Adding a link was created by Tushy
Hi Sozz
Not sure if this is on the site somewhere, but if you want to add a link from a news report - how do you add the link on top of writing?
You would highlight the words, then click the link button and add the url - how do you do it here?
thanks

If you think I'm wrong then say "I think you're wrong". If you say, "You're wrong", how do you know?

Thanks, tushy, that's a good question. Just to rephrase my understanding of the question, how do you convert text into a hyperlink using The Quoroom's forum?
Back in the bad ol' days of MSN Groups, there was a link tool which looked like this: . You selected the text you wanted to link, clicked the tool and entered the URL of the webpage. Pretty easy.
The Quoroom's forum has a link tool, too. It works a little differently.
Let's say, for argument's sake, we want to link the word "Microsoft" to Microsoft's website ( www.microsoft.com ). How do we do that? Select the word Microsoft, then click the URL tool, and this is what you'll see on your editing form:
Now change the first "url" tag as follows:
and you're done! This is how it will appear when your message is posted:
Microsoft
.
If you type www.microsoft.com it will be automatically converted into a clickable hyperlink. Anything that starts with http:// or www. is automatically turned into a hyperlink
Does that explain what you want to know?
